Music Colloquium: Puerto Rican Soundscapes- Exploring Puerto Rican Heritage Stateside through Roots, Jazz, and Classical Music

This multi-day music colloquium examines the history, creation and reception of the musical genres of roots, jazz and classical music as each is adapted, interpreted and transformed by musicians within the United States. There will be an opening reception at the Americas Society, two days of presentations and discussion, and a closing concert.
