Join us for an event about the Puerto Rican Genealogy movement and personal examples of researching family roots. Who was the first Puerto Rican to die at the electric chair? Attorney Yasmin Tirado-Chiodini, a former space shuttle engineer and former adjunct professor of law and ethics, uncovered the answer to that question through her family history research. This discussion will explore the Puerto Rican Genealogy movement and personal examples of researching family roots as well as how Centro resources, such as the archives and data center, can be used in the development of family archival history.
Presenters: Dr. Jorge Camuñas, Yasmin Tirado-Chiodini Moderator: Alberto Hernández Centro
