The Center for Puerto Rican Studies invites you to a research seminar showcasing current research by Centro Research Associates and a Centro-based IUPLR Mellon Foundation Fellow in the areas of history, education, health and musicology.
The Centro Research Unit is dedicated to the production of knowledge based on investigations and research programs for the study of critical conditions that affect Puerto Rican communities in the United States. This Research Seminar is an opportunity to highlight Centro current research programs and disseminate resulting findings.

The IUPLR Mellon Fellows program is a fellowship that seeks to foster, mentor, and professionalize a national cohort of Humanities doctoral students focusing on Latino Studies. Centro is a constituent member of the Inter-University Program for Latino Research and, in that capacity, hosts a number of IUPLR Mellon Fellows every year as part of their professional development.
