
Research Seminar II Jobs and Education of Puerto Ricans in the United States Thursday, April 11 6 – 8 pm The seminar examines the impact of the recession and the current state of the Puerto Rican population living on the mainland. The researchers will discuss the Puerto Rican educational experiences in public schooling through the concept of the “education pipeline,” the state of jobs and poverty status among the Puerto Rican population, and asset building.
