Centro is happy to announce that we are participating in #GivingTuesday! Giving Tuesday resembles a movement of global generosity that empowers people and organizations to transform communities and ultimately, the world. We have been beyond grateful to host in-person and virtual events throughout the years and during the pandemic. During 2021 alone, we have virtually engaged over 250,000 people across and beyond the New York City area. We would love to continue providing content that can bring people together to inform, discuss, and bring attention to several important topics on Puerto Ricans in the islet and throughout the diaspora.
This new year, Centro would like to implement new internships, fellowships, and expand the newly added Arts & Culture department in addition to our focus on research, preservation, and spread of information on the Puerto Rican experience. We would like to humbly ask for you to keep The Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College in your thoughts as you make your annual contributions.
