Gabriela Sierra Alonso

Gabriela Sierra Alonso is the Editor of Centro Voices and a freelance multimedia journalist who recently graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Before Centro she was the Editor-in-Chief of El Tecolote, a bilingual newspaper based in the Mission District of San Francisco, and the host and co-producer of Audiofiles, an hour-long podcast that aired on two NPR affiliate stations. She also worked and published pieces for NPR's Latino USA, a Peabody award-winning weekly podcast hosted by Maria Hinojosa. She has roots in Cuba and Puerto Rico, and naturally walks like she's dancing salsa. She's into covering all things Latinx.
