Omar Dauhajre

Omar A. Dauhajre is a Puerto Rican writer/editor, historian and musician. Over the last decade he has been involved working with the Puerto Rican community in Boston and New York on the nonprofit sector and academia. He was a founding editor of Puerto Rico's legendary Boricuas Bestiales fanzine and former Centro Voices managing editor. Omar is also interested in community building through music and has hosted succesful DJ residencies in Puerto Rico, Boston and New York. He is currently the Outreach Administrator at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) at NYU.
