Puerto Rican Housing Characteristics

This research brief reviews housing characteristics among the Puerto Rican population in the United states. Puerto Ricans are compared to Hispanics overall, non-Hispanic whites, non-Hispanic blacks, and the nation’s total population. Data from the 2007 and 2014 american Community survey (1-year estimates) are used to analyze and compare regional and national housing characteristics. 1Housing characteristics, such as housing tenure, costs, and conditions, are discussed.
